Every May, we are always trembling in anticipation while waiting for the announcement of the year by colossal Swedish retailer, H&M: their mystery collaborations that are usually picked from the pool of high-end designers.

H&M has finally revealed that their upcoming collab this 2016, will be with the French fashion house, Kenzo that is helmed by American designers, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. Compared to last year’s glamorous, sexy and sultry collab with Balmain, what you can expect from Kenzo this year comprises of two words, Colours & Prints.

Here’s what you need to know about Kenzo(if you already didn’t know):
Kenzo’s youthful outlook and dynamic designs is globally adored and Their designs are well-known for putting prints on prints and on prints yet again with some major colour-blocking that causes one’s eyes to pop out just by looking.

This fall collection will include womenswear, menswear and accessories that will be designed by the creative duo of Kenzo. We can look forward to this collab becoming a young, vibrant and fun with an added touch of high-street influences.

Even though they have coproduce with super classy designers like Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld and Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo this is also the first time for a LVMH company to work with H&M.

FYI:
LVMH stands for Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy.
It is a French multinational luxury goods conglomerate.
The brands under them includes Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Céline, Marc Jacobs, Berluti, and Kenzo, among others.

So apparently, no one from the French conglomerate’s assortment of brands has ever teamed up with H&M until this day.

Hopefully, this could be the start of something possibly miraculous? Like maybe, a Dior collaboration? (just saying)

Anyway, in hope we trust that the clothing pieces will not be too pricey.

Get yourselves ready for 03.11.16 as the H&M x Kenzo Collection will be hitting the racks on this date. As with all the previous collaborations with H&M, the opening date is also the commencement of the start of the Queues(or the day/night before) so, prep a tent and sleeping bag in case of rainy weather!
